The Broadmoor Seniors Bowling league is looking for senior couples who might be interested in joining the Tuesday morning bowling league. We are short two spots of two partners. It could include husband and wife, man and woman, or just two guys. This is a fun group, very friendly seniors, and just a fun-loving and exercise possibility for seniors. Is this something that could be mentioned in an email to the Broadmoor group?

Thanks,
Geraldine Tassin

The web site looks Fantastic!!! We have a wonderful Gem of a Neighborhood, eventually this will be a highly sought after area to move to b/c we are centrally located in Baton Rouge. Again, thanks to everyone who made it possible for such a wonderful and informational webster.

What a fabulous webster. Keep up the good work! I've lived here in Broadmoor on and off since the age of 12 (now 61). 1965 Graduate of Broadmoor (when Broadmoor Bucs were on TOP). Loved the area so we stayed, raised five teenagers out of our home on East River Oaks (all graduates of Broadmoor) all professionals now. Hopefully, when time permits, I might be able to dredge up some &very old" pix of the neighborhood for the info section. I appreciate your hard work...keep it up....Broadmoor's worth it!

You've done a very good job with the webster. Congratulations.

The neighborhood-wide open house seems to have been successful. My neighbors received three bids on their very cute house the day after the open house. They're getting the full asking price from a pre-qualified buyer whom they describe as someone who will be a very good neighbor. They hurried up and put their house on the market when they found out about the neighborhood-wide initiative. Even though they're selling their house, they're just moving across Goodwood Blvd to a large house, still in Broadmoor.

Keep up the good work. The neighborhood association makes me value the place in which I live. I hope to become more involved as time goes on.

Hello,

I was wondering if your webster (broadmoor breeze) would consider having a club section. This section could include any clubs that broadmoor members, like myself, have started. This section would be great to help other broadmoor members see home made clubs that their neighbors have started.

For example, I started the Baton Rouge Trikke Club - www.brtrikke.com. It would be great if my fellow broadmoor members would join my club and start exercising in the great outdoors with me and my family.

Thanks for your time,
Chad Guillory

[NOTE: A Clubs Section was added to our Links Page on 6/5/08.]

Well it looks just great!!! I'm so pleased to see the progress and I'm also happy to see that the Association is prospering financially. When I first joined the Board many years ago we were really living hand-to-mouth. It's also nice to see some new blood on the Board; hope the very best for all.

All Broadmoor Residents Association officers, directors, and leaders: This is a beautiful subdivision we live in, and I want to express my appreciation to you for the fine job you are doing in helping to keep it that way!

I saw this article and thought we might want to pass it on so people can protect their cars. I don't know if we have had this problem in Broadmoor yet, but I suspect we will with gas prices going up.
